Draw This Again Challenge- Peck as a Human!

Heyo, Jammers!  I FINALLY finished the Draw This Again Challenge/One Year YouTube-versary Celebration video!!  I kept having to redo the narration because the first time I narrated it, the audio quality was awful for some reason, so I did it again reading from a script I wrote because I wanted to get the narration done quickly but I'm not good at reading scripts so I didn't like the way it sounded scripted, so I finally did it AGAIN, without a script, which took around 2 hours... yeah...  ANYWAYS, the video's done now, so... here it is!

  And here's the art itself:

Much improvement.  Wow.  (Seriously, I can't get over how soulless Peck's eyes look in the original drawing..!)  I highly recommend that you try the Draw This Again challenge yourself; it's a lot of fun ^.^

Also, I have Google Plus now... and I started an Animal Jam Bloggers community!  Everyone is welcome to join, as long as you play Animal Jam and read/have any AJ blogs!  Here's the link to join:
https://plus.google.com/communities/102621571994451947964?sqinv=VEVDTm1UOUFEa1hjZ3A0dXk2ZlhXVWU4WkIwMGhn

The community is intended for kids of all ages, and there are rules, which are pinned so you can see them.  Posts that don't follow the rules will be deleted, but posts aren't moderated before being publicly visible like comments here on my blog, so keep that in mind.

If you join the community, it would be really appreciated if you posted about it on your own blog!  The image above is an edit I made; you can use it to promote the group if you like.  I hope to see you there, and I will write a more in-depth post about the community soon!

Speedart Saturday Wisteriamoon Fanart + Draw This Again Challenge!

Heyo, Jammers!  Guess what time it is?  It's SPEEDART SATURDAY TIME!!!!  Cuz... it's Saturday.  And it's called Speedart SATURDAY, so.... yeah.  Anyways, here's the fan-art for Wisteriamoon (at last!)

  And here's the art itself:

I really like how this drawing turned out.  This lineless art style is a lot of fun :)  Anyways, the poll for what video I should make for my one year YouTube-versary is closed, and the winning video is the DRAW THIS AGAIN CHALLENGE!!!  Yay =D  I've been wanting to do this challenge for quite a while, because it's a great way to show improvement and I love watching other people do this challenge.
I thought about what I should re-draw for a while.  I considered redrawing the art from my very first speedart video, but that drawing was just a simple headshot of an arctic wolf, and I wanted something that more represented my art style and channel, so I found an old drawing of Peck as a human that I drew a while ago and decided to redraw it!  I didn't record the original drawing in a speedart video, but it's one of the first AJ-Animal-As-A-Human drawings that I've made (if not the actual first), and drawing AJ animals as humans is something I do a lot now, so I found it fitting.

Here's the original drawing, and the re-drawn sketch!

This is the original.  As you can see, the proportions are kinda off, and the face looks a little bit... evil?  I didn't draw a lot of full-body humans back then XD  The pose is pretty stiff, and back then, I pretty much ALWAYS drew people in that pose.  And let's not even talk about the hands...
This is the re-drawn sketch!  I decided to go for a bit more motion in the pose, while still trying to keep it at least somewhat close to the original.  The proportions are a lot better, and her face no longer looks evil XD  The hands are better, though not perfect...  definitely something to improve next time I re-draw it :P

By the way, don't forget to enter your art for the next episode of Crazcat Chats!  A lot of Jammers ask me for tips on how to draw, so I want to share some of my tips, along with your tips!  If you want to contribute, just let me know down in the comments below!

Give me a link to a couple of your drawings, tell me what part of the drawing you maybe had a hard time with, as well as what you found easier in the drawings (like the face, position, background, how you colored it, shading, etc) and share some tips on how to draw what you found easier to draw.

Your art will be featured in the video, along with your art advice and I'll also share my own advice for how to draw whatever you had a hard time with.  And of course, you'll get full credit for your art and advice!  No matter what level your art is at, you can enter.  I want the video to be about encouraging people of all skill levels to draw!

You can enter by commenting on this post or by sending an e-mail to crazcatloverajartcontest@gmail.com .  I'll be accepting entries until Wednesday, June 14th!

Delayed Art + I need YOUR help!

Heyo, Jammers!  Sooooo I kinda missed the speedart video for Tuesday.  Again.  I keep underestimating how much time it takes to draw while keeping an eye on a rambunctious puppy. (Wow, I can't believe I spelled 'rambunctious' correctly there...)
I've made a lot of progress on the art, but it's still not finished.  I'll try to post the video on today or Thursday.  Probably Thursday.  Anywho, here's the art so far.  I still need to work on the hat, and the tail armor, and the boots, but I really like how it's turned out so far!

Also, I need YOUR help!  Since the first episode of Crazcat Chats seems to be doing well, I want to work on another episode.  A lot of Jammers ask me for tips on how to draw, so I want to share some.  I would love to be able to showcase art by my viewers, seeing as I kind of no longer make Animal Jam Art Gallery...  Anyways, if you want your art featured, just let me know down in the comments below!  Give me a link to a couple of your drawings, tell me what part of the drawing you maybe had a hard time with, as well as what you found easier in the drawings (like the face, position, background, how you colored it, shading, etc) and share some tips on how to draw what you found easier to draw.

By the way, today is the last day to vote on my poll for what video you want me to make for my one year YouTube-versary!

Crazcat Chats Episode One

I finally made a video about how Animal Jam no longer allows commissions; I already made a blog post about this, but I wanted to make a video so that all of my YouTube subscribers can see :)  By the way, this video is captioned, so if you need/want captions, just turn them on!  If you use captions when watching my videos, let me know and I'll caption more of them... it's a lot of effort, but if it helps even one person be able to access my content, I would gladly caption more videos.

Also, here's a work-in-progress drawing of Wisteriamoon!  I tried to make the drawing look like her, but incorporate her AJ wolf into the outfit.  So far, it's kind of like if Wisteriamoon cosplayed as her wolf as a snazzy pirate.

Make sure to vote in the poll for which video I should make to celebrate my one year YouTube-versary!  The poll will be open until midnight on Wensday!

I kinda want to either do the Draw This Again challene or reading my old AJ fanfiction, but I'm not going to vote at all because I want you to be the ones who chose the video.  I'll probably do all of these videos eventually; this poll is just for which one I should do to celebrate one year of YouTubing :)

1 YEAR OF YOUTUBE! + Speedart Saturday- Animal Jam Fanart for Gellyjones

OMIGOSH GUYSSSSSSSSSSS IT HAS BEEN ONE YEAR SINCE I STARTED YOUTUBE =D  It's really cool to have been making Animal Jam videos for a year :)  Well, technically, I've been MAKING Animal Jam videos for much longer than just a year.  I just wasn't allowed to post them to YouTube until one year ago ;)  I believe that the first AJ video I EVER made, I made WAAAAAY back when I first joined Animal Jam, and it was an Animal Jam music video for my favorite song.
Of course, my favorite song back then had no lyrics.... so I made them up.  I'm sure they were quite cringey, but the video no longer exists so... I dunno.  Luckily, I wasn't allowed to use YouTube back then, so the cringiness never made it to the internet XD   Shortly after making the video, I had to delete it because it took up so much space... but I remember having so much fun making it ;)

Anyways, here's today's episode of Speedart Saturday- some fanart I drew for Gellyjones :)

Also, I'm going to put up a poll on what I should do for my 1 Year of YouTube video, so please vote for what you want me to make =D  Also, feel free to let me know any suggestions for Animal Jam or Art videos that YOU want to see in the future on my channel, along with any Q&A questions you want me to answer in future speedpaint videos!

Speedart Preview- Ja983

I've been a lazy little kitty and waited until today to draw the art I've promised my buddy ja983....  Well, I finally finished it, so here it is!  The video won't be done until tomorrow, though :(

Le sketch:
Le finished art:

I wanted a pose with a bit more ACTION, so I tried this pose.  *shrugs*  I think it's cool, but I really do need to work on capturing motion (and Emotions) in my art...

Anyways, I need YOUR help!  Yes, you!  Y'know how I answer Q&A questions on my speedart videos?  I need questions!  My good buddy Sarahkey8 is a huge help to me and always provides me with questions for my videos (thanks, Sarah ^.^), but I'd like to have questions from the rest of you, too!  So if you've ever wanted to ask me a question for my Q&A's, please do!

I can always use more Q&A questions.  Make sure to be creative, because I will only answer questions that I haven't already answered before in previous videos.  And ask as many questions as you like!  (If you have 20 random questions to ask me, ask me!  I won't be annoyed; I'll be really grateful ^.^)  If you're not allowed to comment on my blog, you can ask your questions on my Jammer Wall in Animal Jam; my AJ username is crazcatlover.

Also, if you know of any good Animal Jam tags that I can do, let me know!  I'd love to do some more tags here and in my videos!  That's all for now; hopefully I'll update this post later with the finished art, but I kinda think that the video may not be finished until tomorrow...

By the way, the purple rare long spiked collar giveaway winner has been chosen; and that winner is Meeplove.  Congrats!  Enjoy your spike ^.^

Speedart Preview + A Masterpiece

Sorry for not posting very often lately; I honestly have just not felt like posting and didn't want to post something boring so... I posted nothing.  I've been feeling rather tired lately.  I decided that today, I'll at least try to be more energetic.  Sooooo, this post isn't going to be HYPER HYPER ENERGY YAAAAAY or anything (most of my posts actually aren't, actually....  I really need to work on that because I'm normally a HYPER HYPER ENERGY YAAAAAAY kinda person, haha) but at least I'm posting.

Sooo, I didn't manage to get a speedart video done yesterday because, as mentioned previously, I've been really tired, and when I'm tired, I just don't feel inspired to draw anything.  I can try to force myself to draw something, but it never turns out as I want it to and it's just not the best I can offer, so when I'm really tired, I just have to wait until I'm more energetic to draw.  I managed to get the sketch of Gummyfummy6's Animal Jam Play Wild bunny done today, so you just might get a speedart video on Friday (no promises though... it'll probably just be one on Saturday, but I'll try!).  Here's the preview:

I'll be working on the digital part of that drawing once I'm finished with this week's episode of Animal Jam Art Gallery.  I also drew a masterpiece recently for Nymphaeaalba!

Not my best masterpiece...  I had some much better sketches I did while I was planning this that I drew on paper, but I can't seem to find them at the moment.  When I do, I'll share share them with you.  I like how the masterpiece turned out, though.

I'll try to post more often!  By the way, the next chapter of The Time-Freeze is now up on my 'The Time-Freeze (AJ Fanfiction)' page!  I really need to continue writing this story more... Whenever I feel creative I usually draw instead of write...  Anyways, that's all for today's post!  Be sure to tell me what you think of Chapter Three of The Time-Freeze, and also check out my Art Contest page!  The contest is open until March 31st :)

Speedart Saturday- Animal Jam Speedpaint for Meeplove

I'm so sorry for forgetting to post this to my blog!  I posted it on YouTube on Saturday but I've been soooo tired for the last few days... which is either the cause or effect of me doing nothing but watch Gravity Falls fan comic dubs and music videos for the last few days...  Anyways, here's the speedart, hope you enjoy!

And if you're also an artist, check out my Art Contest page to learn more about the art contest I'm hosting!  It ends on March 31st, so if you're reading this before then, feel free to enter!

Speedart Preview + Art for Gfox0

Heyo, Jammers!  Today I've got some art to share with you!  First off, here's the art I did for Meeplove's speedart video (the video will be coming on Saturday!)

Eeeek I love how this turned out!  I really love drawing Animal Jam animals as humans x)

Also, here's a drawing I did for my buddy Gfox0, of her OC's (Original Characters), Amelia and Spring!

I'm too tired to write anything, so this is just an art post.  But hey, a picture is worth a thousand words, right?  That's just a metaphor?  Ok...

Speedart Preview + Art Improvement

Heyo, Jammers!  I just finished the art for Speedart Saturday!  This week, I drew Sheepcorn's pig as a human for the art trade I'm doing with her!

It was really fun to draw this!  Drawing the characters from Swirlshine's Jamaasian Middle story has definitely helped improve my people-drawing skills x)

Speaking of improvements in art... I found my old folder of art from a while ago, and I decided I'd share some of the old art I found.  A lot of people have told me that they think they will never be an artist.  That their art will never get better.  But that's not true.  ANYONE can be an artist if they just try hard and practice.

This is the oldest drawing I found in the folder.  It's from September, 2014.  Back then, I had just began taking art seriously- drawing things instead of just doodling or coloring in coloring pages.  I was pretty horrible at drawing people then, so I just drew girls with insanely long hair and long dresses, and I typically drew them from behind so that I wouldn't have to draw the face.  I hid the hands whenever possible because I couldn't draw hands at ALL.
Basically, I just hid everything that was complicated, so it was pretty impossible for me to improve my skills at drawing these difficult things.  I didn't think I would ever be good at art.

Moving on to January 2016, I had gotten a book on how to draw manga-style girls.  I loved that book and I drew manga characters ALL. THE. TIME.  I wasn't very good at it yet, though.  For this drawing, I was trying to draw a manga Cinderella for my aunt.  I didn't even look at a reference picture of Cinderella XD
I had a hard time drawing faces still, especially small faces.  So um... yeah, the eyes don't match at all XD  But at least I was trying, and practicing.

Moving on to April, 2016, I was getting a bit better at drawing clothing and had started trying to draw action poses.  Note the 'trying'...  Getting poses and proportions right is still something I struggle with.  And, let's just ignore those hands... :shudders:
But I think there's still improvement from the manga Cinderella.

This is from sometime in spring, 2016.  I was getting a bit better at drawing manga faces then, though I often got the proportions wrong, and I still had a hard time getting the eyes to look right.  I was trying hard, at least.  I was definitely better at portraits than full-body drawings.  During this time, I was mostly drawing portraits, so that's probably why.

Moving on to May, 2016, my constant practice was definitely starting to pay off.  I remember spending hours drawing this mermaid drawing.  It's actually pretty good, except for the arm and hand...  I still needed to work on proportions, but I was definitely improving.

And in August, 2016, I was working mostly digitally.  I was starting to figure out some digital techniques from my weekly Animal Jam speed-art videos.  I actually really like this drawing.  I was getting better at drawing faces, though the mouth is pretty skewed in this drawing XD

And then compare my old art to this drawing for Sheepcorn that I drew today.  With the years of practice and constant drawings, I've managed to reach this level of art.  One difference between this drawing and my old art is that I use reference photographs now.  I used to think that using reference photographs were cheating, but it really isn't.  And there are still things I want to improve in my art.  And if I keep practicing, eventually I will improve.
If you love art, keep drawing.  Don't let anyone tell you you can never be an artist- especially not yourself.  If you feel like your current art isn't good, compare it to a drawing you did a year ago.  You'll notice that you ARE improving.  And as long as you keep on practicing, you'll keep on improving.
This applies to anything- sports, music, gymnastics...  If you believe in yourself and practice, you can become great at anything.

Speedart Preview of Meganfurryfun37's Snow Leopard + Lostfairy from JM

Heyo, Jammers!  Today I'm mostly just going to share some of my art with you, because I honestly have no idea what to write about XD
So, I drew the sketch of Meganfurryfun37's (aka AJkraft) snow leopard for our art trade, and I'll be coloring that in digitally today!  I decided I'd share the sketch with you =3

Yeahhh, not the most exciting pose.... I'm still working on drawing poses better.  I can draw wolves in different poses pretty well, but I still need to improve on drawing other animals and people in different poses.  Drawing the characters/Bloggers from Swirlshine's Jamaasian Middle story has definitely been helpful with the drawing-people-in-different-poses part, though!  I usually try hard not to draw full-body pictures of people, or hands for that matter, but I've been doing that for each of the JM characters, and I'm pretty glad I am!  I definitely need the practice, and I can already tell that I'm improving.

Speaking of drawing Jamaasian Middle characters, here's today's JM drawing!  This time I drew Lostfairy =)

I may draw a few more characters today; if I do, I'll update this post ;)  As always, if you also read this story or you have a character in the story, fill out the form on my Jamaasian Middle Fan Art page for your character or any character(s) I haven't got the description of yet, and I'll draw them!

Animal Jam Fanfiction + Story Cards + Even more JM fanart!

Heyo Jammers!  I've got some cool stuff to share with you today, so here we go!

I decided to post my Animal Jam fanfiction story, The Time-Freeze, here on my blog!  I've wanted to do this in the past, but I never did because I was worried that I wasn't going to finish the story.  I only have about 6 chapters so far, but I hope that you guys will inspire me to keep writing this story, so yesterday I posted the first chapter on my new page, The Time-Freeze (AJ Fanfiction)!  I'll also be posting each chapter in regular posts as I release them, so that you'll know whenever I have a new chapter out.

So of course, here's Chapter One!

Chapter One- The Phantom-Archaeologist!

Fuzzy Bravegem checked her map one last time.  Her eyes sparkled with excitement.  "The location of the legendary Phantom Temple should be somewhere near here!" she said in hushed enthusiasm.  She eagerly searched the horizon for something resembling an ancient temple, but all she could see was the vast, swampy forest, along with a few mosquitoes.  One buzzed near her ear, and she pawed at it in an attempt to swipe it away.  It evaded her paw, buzzing out of reach.  Fuzzy huffed in annoyance, then continued to scan the forest around her.  The mosquito buzzed back, and Fuzzy turned to face the insect, growing quite irritated.  She swatted at it again.  The mosquito flew around her head, and Fuzzy continued attempting to swat it.  She chased the mosquito through the trees, running around in a crazed dance, paws flailing, as she tried to swipe at it.  She greatly regretted not bringing bug spray.
But suddenly, Fuzzy tripped over a rock!  "Oomph!" she exclaimed.   She stood up and shook the dirt off of her fur, then looked at the rock that had tripped her.  It was absolutely humongous!  Fuzzy examined it a bit closer, and then she gasped.  The rock was in the shape of... a PHANTOM!  There were more phantom-shaped rocks laying all around her.  That mosquito had just aided her in the most amazing discovery of the century- she, Fuzzy Bravegem, had found the Phantom Temple!!!!
Fuzzy grabbed her shovel out of her huge backpack, and immediately began uncovering the buried temple.  Suddenly, her shovel hit something that made a horrible shattering noise.  Fuzzy gasped.  What have I hit?? she wonders, worrying that she had damaged a priceless artifact in her excitement.  But it was far worse than that, she realized, as a dark fog filled the air- a fog darker than the deepest dark she had ever seen.  Fuzzy took a step back.  "W-what?" she whispered in fear, as the dark fog slowly took shape.... the shape of a PHANTOM!!!!
"Oh.  My.  Mira," murmured Fuzzy, her eyes wide with fear.  A real, live PHANTOM! Released by HER!  She didn't know whether to be amazed- or very, very scared.  The phantom stretched and yawned- a big, long yawn.  It hovered in the air in front of Fuzzy.
"Oh, my!" it said as it stretched out its tentacles, its voice deep and sounding almost... distorted. "Pardon me, ma'am, but what year is it?" it inquired.  Fuzzy stuttered for about a minute before she was able to stammer out an answer.
"Er, umm, 2017," she managed to say at last.  The phantom's eye widened and it stopped stretching.
"My, my! I have been trapped in that dreadful prison for quite some time!" it exclaimed.  Fuzzy continued to stare at it in awe.
"Who exactly ARE you?" she asked it.  The phantom laughed- its distorted laughter giving Fuzzy a deep chill that ran down her spine.

"Your animal tongue would be quite unable to pronounce my name.  You may call me simply, the Phantom.  Now, I have a little, teeny-tiny question to ask you and if you answer it correctly, I just may let you go," it said.  Fuzzy knew she should have been scared- terrified; even more than terrified!, and she was, of course.  But the scientist in her was completely in awe of the fact that she was speaking to an actual PHANTOM that it blocked her screaming urge to run away, as far away as possible from this creature of darkness.
"Of-of course!" she said.  This is an incredible opportunity to study a real, true, live phantom, she thought.
The Phantom smiled- another chill ran down Fuzzy's spine.  She was already starting to regret ignoring that need to get away.  "Good girl.  Now, tell me, did the Alpha's plans to trap all the phantoms in a Dark Realm succeed?" it asked.  Fuzzy nodded.
"Why, yes! I myself have visited the very portal they used to do it!  Of course, they moved the crystal that powered it to the Museum, but it's still QUITE a sight to behold!" she said, emitting a short, nervous laugh at the end.  A rather irritating trait of hers was to babble on and on whenever she grew nervous- and honestly, what sane being wouldn't be nervous when speaking to a phantom?
The Phantom smiled that cruel, twisted smile once more, and Fuzzy gulped audibly.  "Thank you very much.  And now, you are going to take me to this portal, and this museum, so that I can free my brethren and we can invade Jamaa!!!" it cried.  Fuzzy gasped.  The amazement was gone- in its place was just that overwhelming fear.
"You're CRAZY!" she exclaimed, and she finally obeyed her primal instinct to RUN.  She tried to gallop away from the phantom, and suddenly, the phantom thought that perhaps, just perhaps, telling the archaeologist about its plans wasn't such a good idea.
"Come back here!" it yelled at the arctic wolf, but Fuzzy didn't stop running through the trees.  The phantom roared, then attacked  her!!!

***

Cliffhangers!  Hooray!  What do you think will happen to Fuzzy?  I think I'll post the next chapter next week...  But anyways, if you're writing an Animal Jam fanfiction yourself, you'll know that it can be pretty hard to figure out what happens next.  I invented a fun game that can help with that!

It's called Animal Jam Story Cards.  What are Story Cards, you ask?  Well, it's a fun game that me and my sister, Cowie01, invented.  We would make cards and write random story inspirations on them, like, 'A character is betrayed' or 'A character finds a friend', then use them to create a story!  I decided to make my own, Animal Jam version, to help with writing The Time-Freeze, and thought I'd share them with you guys, too!

If you're thinking about writing an Animal Jam fanfiction and don't know where to start, or perhaps you're already writing an AJ fanfiction but you're stuck and don't know what should happen next.  Just print out these cards, cut them out, shuffle them, and start your story =D

The cards are just there for inspiration; you can interpret them however you like.  For example, if you're writing a very serious AJ fanfic, and you get the 'a character gets scammed' card but it doesn't fit in with the story, be creative!  Maybe instead of being scammed of items, they get conned or tricked in another way.

If you can think of some cool things for other AJ Story Cards, be sure to let me know in the comments down below!  I might make some more Story Cards and include your suggestions!  And also let me know if you use these cards to write your own AJ fanfiction; I'd love to read it!

And of course, it's time for me to share with you today's fanart for Swirlshine's Jamaasian Middle story!  Sooo, you know how I said I was going to draw one blogger a day?  Well, yesterday, I couldn't help myself, and I drew 3 bloggers.  Hehe.... anyways, here they are!

As always, if you also read this story or you have a character in the story, fill out the form on my Jamaasian Middle Fan Art page for your character or any character(s) I haven't got the description of yet, and I'll draw them!

Thanks for reading this blog post!  What do you think of The Time-Freeze?  Will you use the Animal Jam Story Cards?  What Blogger should I draw next?  Let me know in the comments down below!

Imagination Fair 2016 + Old Art + Inspirational Speech + Swirlshine's Blog + Art for Karalee

Hey, Jammers!  Crazcatlover here, back with another blog post ;)  Today's post is very different from usual... and also much longer XD  So let's jump right in!

Do any of you remember the Imagination Fair in Animal Jam? It's something they host every year to promote creativity and interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).  I was recently looking through some of my old art and found this!

Wow, that's some excessive watermarking XD And I wrote '7 days o a single charge' instead of '7 days ON a single charge'.... oopsy XD

It was my entry for the 2016 Animal Jam Imagination Fair.  I entered it in Science category first, but I didn't win.... But then I also entered it for Technology, and I won that!

I was super excited when I won XD  A device that could record and play back dreams is something I've wanted all my life, though I did once have a conversation with my buddy Germanshepherdluv2 on Animal Jam, where she mentioned that a pillow which could record dreams would be a great thing, soooo that was kind of my inspiration for this specific Dream Recording Pillow :)

I'd almost forgotten about this until I looked through some of my old art files and found that!  Also, if you ever think you're bad at art or your art isn't improving, think again.  This is some art I drew for my buddy Budgielove in March of 2016:

Oh, everything about this is wrong XD I didn't look at reference photographs back then; I only looked at Animal Jam animals.  If you look at any of my old art, you'll notice I pretty much drew all animals in the same pose: standing with one paw held up.  It makes it look like every animal I drew had an injured paw or something XD  Use reference photos, guys.  They really do help.  In one year of drawing, I've gone from THAT to this:

Never give up on art.  Just keep drawing and practicing.  Art is something that takes time.  Don't stop drawing just because you don't think you're good at drawing.  You cannot improve art without practice.  It's been about a year since I've started drawing Animal Jam animals for my friends.  And in that year, I've learned a lot of things about art.  And I'm still learning.  This year, I want to practice drawing humans more.  I want to start drawing more animals besides wolves.  And you get to be a part of this art journey with me.
If you want to be an artist, start drawing now.  In a year, your art will have improved immensely, but only if you pick up that pencil and start drawing today.

In other news, today I found The Weekly Jammer News, an Animal Jam blog by Swirlshine!  I haven't read very much of it yet, but so far it's a very cool blog, and Swirlshine has such a fun and interesting way of writing... a fun and interesting 'voice', to use proper writers' terms XD

I discovered that she had a really cool Animal Jam fan fiction story called Jamaasian Middle.  It's about what would happen if all her AJ friends and her went to the same middle school.  It's inspired by the Jamaasian High stories that some other AJ bloggers have started writing (including ajkraft, sarahkey8, lostfairy, and karalee).  I might write my own version next school year, who knows?  I really like reading AJ fanfiction, but I'm not very good at writing it myself XD

Anyways, I decided to take on the huge task of drawing all the Bloggers in the story XD  Right now, I don't have detailed enough character descriptions of all the characters to draw them all, so I decided to draw them one-at-a-time, and started by drawing my buddy, Karalee!

If you also read this story, or you are a character in this story, please help me fill out the form below for each of the Blogger characters in the story!  I don't have full details of what each character looks like, so if you're a character in the story, it'd be really helpful if you filled the form in about your character!

Character's Name (Name from the story only):

Girl or boy:

Height (approximate is fine):

Weight (approximate is fine, like skinny/average/plump):

Hair color:

Eye color:

Skintone:

Hairstyle and length:

Clothes:

Top:
Pants/skirt:
Jacket, if applicable:
Shoes:
Other:

Please don't include any personally identifiable information if you fill out this form about a character in the story based off of you!  I just want to know what the characters in the story look like so I can draw them accurately; it just so happens that these characters are based off of real people.  You can say AJ items that your AJ animal wears for the 'clothes' if you want.  Whatever your character is described to look like in the story.

Technically they're all going to middle school soooo idk...  approximate age is no longer part of the form XD

(thanks to Karalee for writing this awesome character form!)

Wow, this post is SUPER LONG!  I really like the longer post style, though, and I think I might start doing more posts like this in the future!  Usually I just post a video, maybe some art, and leave it at that, but I want to start working on making my blog interesting and spend more time writing posts.  I know my blog isn't very popular at the moment, but I want to start reaching out and commenting on other AJ blogs.

If any of you have any AJ blogs, I would really appreciate it if you could give me a little shoutout.  I work hard to make my Animal Jam content 100% kid-friendly.  I'm also going to be changing my 'no links in the comments' rule, so be sure to read the updated rules!  I now allow links to appropriate,  Animal Jam related websites.  So be sure to tell me about your favorite, kid-friendly Animal Jam blogs!

I cannot guarantee that links to outside websites will always be 100% kid-friendly like my blog!  I cannot control these websites, so they may be updated and no longer be appropriate.  If I discover that there is a link in a comment to a website that is no longer kid-friendly, I will delete the comment, but I can't promise that links will always be appropriate.  Just a fair warning for you guys ;)   Make sure to be careful and stay safe on the internet!
