Art Trades are closed until sometime during July. This is because once I am done with all of the speedpaint videos currently in my schedule, I will be drawing a lot of fan-art for JamCon 2017.
I WILL NO LONGER OFFER COMMISSIONS, ONLY ART TRADES.
**I draw my speedart video art in a program called General Image Manipulation Program (or GIMP, for short). THIS MEANS THAT I CANNOT MAKE THE ART INTO AN IN-GAME MASTERPIECE, SINCE IT IS NOT DRAWN IN THE ANIMAL JAM ART STUDIO PROGRAM. I no longer offer masterpiece commissions, so if you want an in-game Masterpiece of your Animal Jam animal, please commission a different artist.**

Quality art takes time, so please be patient. I will not accept any new art trades if I already have 5 speedart videos in my schedule. If my schedule is full, please wait a week or two until I have an open slot to order your art.
I do art trades in first come, first serve order.
It can take up to a week per speedart video, although I do my best to get 2 speedart videos done weekly, so typically it should only take about 4-5 days per speedart.
Example: if there are 2 people already in the schedule when you ask for an art trade, it could take a maximum of 3 weeks for your speedart video to be completed and uploaded to YouTube. (Please note that this applies only if I don't have a lot of time to draw)

-Your Animal Jam username
-The animal you want drawn (animal name and animal type)
-Please provide a way for me to view your art.
-If you want your animal drawn as a human (If yes, please state if the animal is male or female, and any appearance preferences [such as hairstyle, skintone, how the items are incorporated into the human outfit, etc]).
-Please include whatever additional information or preferences you have about the drawing (For example, if you want it to be in a specific pose, have a specific expression, etc)
**EXAMPLE- My Animal Jam username is Crazcatlover. The animal I want drawn is my polar bear, Commander Spiritmoon. I want an art trade, and you can find examples of my art on my YouTube channel, Crazcatlover AJ. I would like for you to draw my polar bear as a human. Commander Spiritmoon is female. I'd like it if the pose were some sort of ballet pose, like a pirouette. Other than that, I have no preferences.**
So that's all! If my schedule is open, you can now ask for an art trade :)
P.S., If I agree to do an art trade with you, I'll probably ask you to draw either my polar bear, Commander Spiritmoon, or my wolf, Princess Spiritrose. Sometimes I'll also ask for my pet lion, Riverhamster, to be drawn as well. So here's a handy reference:

ReplyDelete(By the way, I should probably warn you about this in case you don't know. Recently, AJHQ has been apparently banning artists who have asked for AJ items for out-of-game art. I don't know if this has been cleared up yet, but I thought I'd let you know just in case)

DeleteI kind of freaked out after reading that, but I told an Animal Jam moderator on the Daily Explorer that 'I heard that [they']re banning artists for asking for Animal Jam items in exchange for art that isn't masterpieces' but they only replied with 'You should not believe everything you hear!' I think that means it's okay to continue doing commissions? I'm not sure...

As for me, could you draw my wolf, Princess Spiritrose? I don't really have any preferences, so you can draw my wolf however you want.
Could you draw my fox Artistic SpiritLily? As for preferences, I don't really have any, except she's supposed to be a fennec fox, so big ears I guess :P
DeleteAs for the art commissions thing, I'm kind of assuming that it was just one random AJHQ employee who made the statement about commissions not being allowed, since ajhq are seemingly fine with art commissions as they have promoted certain artists on instagram by featuring them on their account. It's quite a big mystery o.O

Sure, you could draw my animal as a human! Are you drawing Princess Spiritrose or Commander Spiritmoon? You can make up the appearance based off of the animal (like I do, lol). Princess Spiritrose as a human would be a bit more 'rock-star' style- I imagine her to have red hair and she has gray eyeshadow on one eye and red eyeshadow on the other. Commander Spiritmoon would be more natural though, with the chestnut brown French braid and fancy black-and-red dress.
