  Me:  Because I've finally been tagged in a tag!!!!

  You:  Oh.  Ok. 

  Me:  *sighs*

  ANYWAYS, yeah.  Lostfairy from The Animal Jam Jumble tagged me to do the Sunshine Blogger Tag!  (Or Sunshine Blogger Award Tag... I'm just going to call it the Sunshine Blogger Tag, though)  This tag is really cool.  First thing to do is to answer the 11 questions that the person who tagged you asked, then you get to come up with 11 questions to ask 11 people that you tag!  (But I haven't really seen anyone tagging 11 people.... basically, just tag as many people as you can think of that actually read your blog and would see the tag and actually do the tag and if you can think of 11 people, GOLD STAR FOR YOU!)

  So, here we go!  

1. What movie character is most like you? Why?

  Hmm...  I can't really think of any movie character that's most like me.  Do TV show characters count?  Because if so, then I'm most like Mabel from Gravity Falls.  I'm very random, energetic, and cheerful.

2. What is your favorite smell in the world?

The smell of a new season.  Does that make sense?  Each season has its own distinct smell to me.  It smells new and fresh and exciting!  

3. If you could meet any fictional character, who would it be?

Robin from Young Justice!!!!!!  He's kind of my favorite superhero/fictional character.  And if I could meet Robin, then that would mean that Young Justice is real and Young Justice is an amazing TV show ^.^

  Season 3 will probably have ANOTHER Robin.  (Actually, I hope not.  Because the only other Robin that they would introduce would be Damian Wayne.  I don't see how they could make Damian Wayne fit into that universe.... If you know what I'm talking about, GOLD STAR FOR YOU!)

 ANYWAYS, moving on!

4. What is the best thing that has happened to you and why?

I think the best thing that has happened to me is discovering Animal Jam and the huge community it has.  I've made so many incredible friends through Animal Jam, and the Animal Jam blogging community!

5. What's your favorite daydream that you go to all the time?

Young Justice.  'Nuff said.

6. If you could have ANY animal in the world as a pet, which animal would it be?

Do unicorns count as an animal in the world?  Because I've always wanted a unicorn.  But honestly, I really-really-really want a dog.  And I mean, I kinda doubt that I could obtain a unicorn...  

7. What are your 3 favorite words?

Imaginativeness!  Superheroes!  Whelmed!  (Wait, whelmed is an actual word?  I thought Robin made it up.  The things I learn from autocorrect!)

8. What is your dream job?

Since being a superhero isn't a viable job, I want to work as an artist/moderator for AJHQ.  If that's not possible, then me and my sister want to make our own comic book/other media company that makes kid-friendly media for teens.  Or maybe I'll do both :D

(When I was little, I wanted to make a bakery that made dairy-and-peanut-free deserts, with a cat shelter in the back where people could pet cats while eating deserts.  I don't think that that'd be up to health code, though XD)

9. What's your idea of the perfect day? Why?

A perfect day for me would be a day spent with friends and my family.  Corny as it may sound, I'm happiest when I'm with my friends.

10. What sounds best to you: a book, movie, or video game?

I spend a lot of time on Animal Jam (which is technically a video game), but honestly, there's nothing quite like a good book.  When I'm not playing Animal Jam, I'm usually reading.

11. What would you do if you woke up one morning and found everything you love gone?

Wow, that's a depressing question!  I'd probably have a mental breakdown :)  (seriously, if everything I love were gone, that would mean that every human being would be gone and the Earth would be inhabited only by bugs... that is, if Earth even existed anymore.  I love the planet, too!  XD That sounds corny.  But seriously...  I don't think I can even imagine how I'd feel or what I'd do.)

Speedart Saturday- Gummyfummy6 + Writing Contest

  Heyo, Jammers.  I've been a lazy, lazy kitty and didn't put Speedart Saturday here on my blog on, well, Saturday.  It's not that much effort to just make a tiny little post with my video and art but nooooo, lazy me thought to myself, "Eh, I'll post it after I finish watching this YouTube video...." but noooo, lazy me just had to watch YouTube videos until lazy me had to get off of the computer.  I'm sorry.  Here's the video.

  In other news, I am working on providing subtitles/closed captioning for my videos!  My channel is rather small, so I don't know if these captions will even be used by anyone, but I want my content to be enjoyable by as many people as possible.  YouTube's automatic captions definitely aren't the most reliable, so I want to provide accurate captions on my videos for those who might need or want them.  I don't know if I'll caption all of my old videos, but I hope to provide accurate captions for at least some; and if the captions are actually used, I'll caption all of my future videos.

 I know I don't do update videos or update posts because, well, EVERYONE does that...  But I decided to do a little post about the adorable new COUGARS!

  When I first saw cougars, I thought, "Wow, these are just tall, muscular lynxes..."  But I bought one anyway XD

  I of course had to name my cougar 'Enchanted Talllynx,' because like I said... they look like tall lynxes XD

  I can't tell if they look really tough, or really cute!

  But man, these things definitely look tough when they wear spiked collars!  I decided to make a compilation of various lynx outfits =)

  Everything looks awesome on these animals!  Kudos to the animation team!  Seriously... the animations on these things are SOOO CUTE!  I had to make a cougar cuteness compilation, too.

  The cuteness.... THE CUTENESS!!!!!  I would totally print this out and hang it on my wall XD

  Also, if you have free chat (or 'safe chat', as AJ calls it), you might have panicked when you noticed this:

  I panicked for a moment there, too.  But don't worry, your free chat isn't gone!  Just go into settings and turn off Predict Chat.  Your chat should return to its free self (though it does tend to glitch after sending Jam-A-Grams.  If this happens to you, just refresh.)

Masterpiece Malfunction + Gfox from Jamaasian Middle

  Heyo, Jammers!  Crazcatlover here, back with another blog post!  I've got some sad, sad news to share with you today...  I can't make copies of any of the masterpieces I drew from before February, 2017.  My llama masterpiece.... gellyjones masterpiece.... All of them gone, except the few I've drawn in the last month!  My buddy, Floofyart, brought to my attention a horrible new glitch.  When Animal Jam updated yesterday, it corrupted all the old saved masterpiece files from before February or something, because whenever I try to load any, it gives me this message:

  What??  'This Masterpiece could not be loaded.  Please try again.'  So I tried again.  And again.  And again.  And all the masterpieces from before February 2017 DID NOT LOAD.  I tried refreshing; still wouldn't load.  This isn't some fun, harmless glitch like a land animal managing to get underwater, this is a horrible glitch affecting many jammers!  As far as I know, this is happening to everyone.

  

  Countless hours spent drawing Masterpieces, lost.  This is the kind of glitch that makes people quit.  I already contacted AJHQ, though they have not responded yet.  Hopefully this is a coding error that can be fixed by the team at AJHQ.  If it's not?  Then this is a dark, dark day in Animal Jam history. 

  Seeing as the majority of my masterpieces can no longer be loaded, I will be closing my masterpiece commissions completely until this glitch is fixed.  I don't want to draw any new masterpieces and lose those files, too, and obviously I can't load most of my old art to make copies of existing masterpieces.

  Please don't spam AJHQ with e-mails about this issue; like I said, I already contacted them.  All we can do for right now is wait for the hard-working coding team at AJHQ to fix this.  Please let me know if this glitch is happening to you, too, or if you can still load old masterpieces from before February.

  In other news, I just finished the drawing of Gfox from the Jamaasian Middle story by Swirlshine, author of  The Weekly Jammer News!

  I've decided that I'm going to draw the Bloggers from the story one-at-a-time, as I have been drawing them, on paper with pencil, and then once I've drawn all of them, I'll make a huge speedart video where I color them all in digitally.  Obviously, there are a LOT of Bloggers in this story, so when I make that huge image, I'll be shrinking each character down a lot.  It'll still be a huge project, so I'm going to try to draw at least one Blogger a day.  

  If you also read this story, or you are a character in this story, please help me fill out the form below for each of the Blogger characters in the story!  I don't have full details of what each character looks like, so if you're a character in the story, it'd be really helpful if you filled the form in about your character!  So far, I have character descriptions of Karalee and Gfox.

Imagination Fair 2016 + Old Art + Inspirational Speech + Swirlshine's Blog + Art for Karalee

 Hey, Jammers!  Crazcatlover here, back with another blog post ;)  Today's post is very different from usual... and also much longer XD  So let's jump right in!

 Do any of you remember the Imagination Fair in Animal Jam? It's something they host every year to promote creativity and interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).  I was recently looking through some of my old art and found this!

Wow, that's some excessive watermarking XD And I wrote '7 days o a single charge' instead of '7 days ON a single charge'.... oopsy XD


 It was my entry for the 2016 Animal Jam Imagination Fair.  I entered it in Science category first, but I didn't win.... But then I also entered it for Technology, and I won that!

  I was super excited when I won XD  A device that could record and play back dreams is something I've wanted all my life, though I did once have a conversation with my buddy Germanshepherdluv2 on Animal Jam, where she mentioned that a pillow which could record dreams would be a great thing, soooo that was kind of my inspiration for this specific Dream Recording Pillow :)

  I'd almost forgotten about this until I looked through some of my old art files and found that!  Also, if you ever think you're bad at art or your art isn't improving, think again.  This is some art I drew for my buddy Budgielove in March of 2016:

  Oh, everything about this is wrong XD I didn't look at reference photographs back then; I only looked at Animal Jam animals.  If you look at any of my old art, you'll notice I pretty much drew all animals in the same pose: standing with one paw held up.  It makes it look like every animal I drew had an injured paw or something XD  Use reference photos, guys.  They really do help.  In one year of drawing, I've gone from THAT to this:

  Never give up on art.  Just keep drawing and practicing.  Art is something that takes time.  Don't stop drawing just because you don't think you're good at drawing.  You cannot improve art without practice.  It's been about a year since I've started drawing Animal Jam animals for my friends.  And in that year, I've learned a lot of things about art.  And I'm still learning.  This year, I want to practice drawing humans more.  I want to start drawing more animals besides wolves.  And you get to be a part of this art journey with me.
  If you want to be an artist, start drawing now.  In a year, your art will have improved immensely, but only if you pick up that pencil and start drawing today.

  In other news, today I found The Weekly Jammer News, an Animal Jam blog by Swirlshine!  I haven't read very much of it yet, but so far it's a very cool blog, and Swirlshine has such a fun and interesting way of writing... a fun and interesting 'voice', to use proper writers' terms XD

  I discovered that she had a really cool Animal Jam fan fiction story called Jamaasian Middle.  It's about what would happen if all her AJ friends and her went to the same middle school.  It's inspired by the Jamaasian High stories that some other AJ bloggers have started writing (including ajkraft, sarahkey8, lostfairy, and karalee).  I might write my own version next school year, who knows?  I really like reading AJ fanfiction, but I'm not very good at writing it myself XD

  Anyways, I decided to take on the huge task of drawing all the Bloggers in the story XD  Right now, I don't have detailed enough character descriptions of all the characters to draw them all, so I decided to draw them one-at-a-time, and started by drawing my buddy, Karalee!

  Wow, this post is SUPER LONG!  I really like the longer post style, though, and I think I might start doing more posts like this in the future!  Usually I just post a video, maybe some art, and leave it at that, but I want to start working on making my blog interesting and spend more time writing posts.  I know my blog isn't very popular at the moment, but I want to start reaching out and commenting on other AJ blogs.

  Hey Jammers!  So, I've been talking about this in my videos for a while, but I'd just like to let you guys know that I'm going to be hosting a giveaway here on The Crazcatblog once I reach 200 subscribers on my YouTube channel!  So far, I'm at 199 subscribers, which is super-duper close to my goal! 😁  So today, I'd just like to explain real quick what I'm planning on giving away.

Dove Moon- Original Character for Karalee's Jamaasian High Fanfic

  Hey, Jammers!  This is a random post for my good friend Karalee.  She's writing an Animal Jam fan-fiction story about Jamaasian High.  It's about if Animal Jam were a high school, and appearantly a lot of people have Jamaasian High stories.  In her words, "The story is set in Jamaa’s fictional high school, and is only one of many blogger-written stories in the same vein...  Instead of having different “chapters” written in the same setting, Jamaasian High is a series of web-stories, all based on one central idea: that Jamaa must have some sort of a school system, and that the lives of the attendees must be very interesting."

  Who knows, maybe someday I'll write a Jamaasian High story.... although I'm not a very good writer XD  I can write about 4 pages but then I lose interest in the story and never write any more.... yea....

Anyways, Karalee has a blog, and on her blog she has a Jamaasian High Questionnaire to use to create an Original Character for the story.  So I decided to fill it out!  Here's some information about my OC, Dove Moon!



Jamaasian High Avatar/OC Description:



Name:  Dove

Last name (fictional, possibly AJ-derived):  Moon

Girl or boy: Girl

Height: 5 feet

Weight (approximate is fine, for illustrating purposes):  Not 'fat' but defiantly not skinny.  A teensy bit plump, I guess?

Age: 16

Hair color: It's dyed light pink, though it's naturally a light brown color (if for some reason you need this information, she started dyeing her hair pink when she was 13)

Eye color: A dark, purplish brown

Skintone:  A dark tan/light or golden brown

Hairstyle and length:  Dove has always loved the unrealistically long hair in anime and manga, and her straight hair reaches all the way to her waist.  She likes to wear headbands, especially cat-ear headbands.

Clothes:  While Dove is a cheerful person, she really loves Goth fashion, especially pastel goth.   She tends to favor pink and purple colored things, and also likes faux leather jackets and boots.

Top:  A cute top made of a shimmery purple-pink fabric, with sleeves that reach a little past elbow-length.  It's somewhat loose and has a belt at the waist.
Pants/skirt:  A denim skirt that reaches about a bit more halfway to her knees.
Jacket, if applicable: If the weather gets chilly, and even sometimes when it doesn't, Dove will put on her beloved leather jacket.
Shoes: Short leather boots with plenty of straps.
Backpack: A black backpack with a rainbow-colored cat design that she drew on it herself.
Other: She wears a cute choker necklace with a crescent moon charm, and also wears pink socks that come up to her knees.

Short backstory/background:  Dove was orphaned when she was 6 years old, and lived in foster care in various families until she was 10.  During this time, she was constantly reading books and comic books, and preferred daydreaming over reality.  She was extremely shy, and didn't talk to people unless neccesary.  Eventually, though, one of her foster families adopted her, and she now lives with them.  She's much less shy than she used to be, though she's still rather shy around people she doesn't know well, but once she's acquainted with someone, her true self will show through.
Dove is very kind, and she'll do pretty much anything for her friends.  If a friend needs help, she does her best to help them.  She has been bullied for being an orphan, and when she was younger she was too afraid to stand up to it.  As a teen, though, she decided enough's enough, and no longer puts up with bullying.  If she ever sees anyone being bullied, she'll stand up for them.  The fact that she's an orphan and that she was adopted by a same-gender couple isn't really something she talks about.  It's not that she doesn't like to talk about it; she just doesn't really think about it all the time.  When she does talk about it, she doesn't talk about it as if it's special or different,  it's just a part of her life.  It's normal to her.

Other significant character trait(s): Dove is somewhat socially awkward.  Growing up, she constantly had her head in a book or comic book, and before she was adopted by her current family, she preferred to live in fantasies about make-believe worlds than in her reality in the orphanage.  These days, she tries hard to talk to people, but she's rather shy with anyone she doesn't know very well, and gets embarrassed quite easily.  Once she starts to know someone better, though, she begins to peek out of her shell, and she is quite funny and kind.  She often makes references to superhero tv shows and comic books.  A very artistic person, Dove is constantly doodling in class and her favorite school subject would defiantly be art.  If there are any creative projects that need doing, she's the first to volunteer.

Fears or dislikes: Dove is afraid of not being accepted, she's afraid that people think she's weird or awkward, she is scared of natural disasters, she can't stand bullies, she's somewhat afraid of heights, hates cliches and stereotypes

“…A few of my favorite things…” (That are not cream colored ponies, or silver white winters that melt into springs. Though I do like crisp apple strudels…): She loves art and drawing, music (pop/rock), cookies and candies and basically anything with sugar, superheroes and comic books, regular books (fantasy especially), animals, glitter, bright colors, craft/hobby/art stores
Skilled in: Drawing, learning new things, any sort of craft, making videos, blogging

Has trouble with: Social skills, talking to boys, controlling her emotions

Favorite foods: Cookies, skittles, Twizzlers, jellybeans, basically anything sweet and sugary, ramen noodles, cereal, beef roast, hamburgers, and lo mein

Favorite subjects: Math, History, Art, English/Spelling/Grammar

Least favorite subjects: PE, Science

How would your character react to teasing (the unfriendly sort)?  She gets really irritated by it.  When she was little, people bullied her a lot.  She'll stand up to it but sometimes it can really get to her.  She might start to cry because she cries when she's mad.

How would your character react to teasing (the friendly sort)?  She doesn't always know how to react to it.  Her responses to it can be funny (and embarrassing)

What is your/your character’s opinion on Animal Jam YouTuber stars?  She will watch most of their videos: Aparri, Bepper, Wisteriamoon, Snowyclaw, etc, but her absolute favorite Animal Jam YouTuber is Julian2.  She constantly draws fan art for him, though she doubts he'll ever see any of it.

What is your character’s opinion on Jamaasian High?  

A. Best. School. EVER!!
B. It’s okay, could use some improvements.
C. I don’t like the gym teacher.
D. It stinks here. ):L
(If your answer was D, it’s probably just Meatloaf Wednesday in the cafeteria. If your answer was B, one of those improvements is probably to banish Meatloaf Wednesday.)


Mostly A, like, 'It's an awesome school.... but I hate Meatloaf Wensday.'  She packs her own lunch on Wensdays.

  And that's my character for your story, Karalee!  I know... it's really, really detailed XD  But detailed is good.  In no way is Dove me; physically or backstory.  My name isn't Dove, I'm not an orphan, I don't have pink hair, etc, although Dove's personality is based off of mine.  Karalee is an awesome writer, and her Questionnaire is really good; you can use it for creating an OC for any Animal Jam fanfiction if you want XD
